Brawl Stats X is a public analytics site for the Brawl Stars meta. We don't require an account, we don't sell ads, and we don't resell data. This page explains the data processed when you use the site, why, and who else receives it.

What we collect from you

No account is required to browse. Player and club searches use the game tag you enter. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond.

Player and club pages use public Brawl Stars API data and cached records. A game tag can appear in the page URL, request logs, and analytics page-location data. Visiting a player page does not by itself enable ongoing player tracking. Using Connect enables collection of that tag's public profile and battle history for the tracking period shown on the page; it does not authenticate ownership of the account.

We store aggregate match stats (win rates, pick rates, map performance) computed from public Brawl Stars battle logs. Stored game records can include player tags, game names, trophies, and battle details; statistical summaries are distinct from the visitor analytics described below.

Google Analytics 4 and performance measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage and improve the site. It can collect page URLs and titles, referrers, timestamps, browser and device information, approximate location, and cookie-based visitor and session identifiers. Depending on the web stream settings, enhanced measurement can also record events such as scrolling, outbound link clicks, and file downloads.

Google receives this measurement data. Avoid placing private information in URLs or search parameters. We do not send a Brawl Stats X account ID to GA4, and game tags in visited URLs do not verify who owns a game account. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Vercel Web Analytics measures visits separately, and Speed Insights measures page performance; Vercel Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies.

Service providers

Standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, referer) is processed by the providers we use to run the site:

  • Vercel — hosting, Web Analytics, and Speed Insights (policy)
  • Cloudflare — DNS, network delivery, and security challenges (policy)
  • Google — Google Analytics 4 (policy)
  • Sentry — backend error diagnostics, configured with default personal-information collection disabled (policy)

Providers may process data in countries other than your own. Their policies explain their processing practices and available privacy controls.

Cookies and local storage

GA4 uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and maintain session state. Google documents a default expiration of two years, subject to browser limits and the configured cookie settings. See Google's cookie documentation. Hosting and security providers may also use functional cookies, including for security challenges. Our application does not store a visitor account ID in localStorage.

Your choices

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and use tracking-protection tools. Blocking cookies alone does not necessarily stop analytics requests. Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking security cookies may prevent protected pages from working.

Contact us about access, correction, deletion, or objections concerning information associated with you. Include enough context to locate the relevant records, but do not send passwords or API keys. Available rights depend on your location; we may need to verify a request before acting on it. This notice is not a consent prompt.

Upstream data: Supercell

The match data we surface comes from Supercell's public Brawl Stars API. Brawl Stars and all related assets, names, and trademarks are owned by Supercell. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Supercell. We use the data under the terms Supercell publishes for their developer API.

Data retention

Statistical summaries may be retained for historical comparisons. Player-history retention is separate from the active Connect tracking period. Analytics events, request logs, and error reports follow the retention settings of the relevant service; cookie expiry is not the same as server-side data retention. Contact us for questions about a particular record or deletion request.

Children

Game data can relate to players of different ages. We do not ask visitors to provide their age; the automatic collection described above can occur without an account. If you are a parent or guardian concerned about a child's information, contact us so we can review the relevant records and request.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Review this page for the current description of our practices.
